The meaning behind the name
Yukiori is born from two Japanese words:
Yuki (雪), meaning snow , and Ori (織り), meaning weave .
Together they evoke the idea of “knitting with the purity of snow.”
It's not just a name, it's a philosophy . At Yukiori, we believe design should be clean, balanced, and purposeful. Snow symbolizes calm, the beauty of simplicity, and purity of detail. Knitting, on the other hand, represents patient work, the union of threads, ideas, and cultures.
This is how Yukiori was born: a brand that unites the otaku world with minimalist design , where each garment tells a story without having to shout it out.

Also wabi-sabi (侘寂): the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
